Absolutely and also it depends. For example if you are using dajngo-storage library to upload your files to aws, that has a whole lot of settings compared to the local storage environment. In such cases it’s always better to create a new settings file. If you have the same variable name throughout your project then yes, a simple environment variable should be enough.
